Cranbrook Road North, Gants Hill

The works will have a number of benefits for road users,
the local community and the local environment. These include:

A pedestrian walkway/cycleway around the roundabout
Improved lighting and new traffic signals on the roundabout
Guard railings and a high friction, anti-skid road surface
CCTV to improve traffic control and journey time reliability
A number of street-level pedestrian crossings
New 'spill out' areas outside local businesses
Improved lighting and signage around the Tube station
New trees and grass areas
